MOOSE HILL WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

Writer's picture: lil pineslil pines

Visit the oldest property of the Massachusetts Audubon Society, established in 1916 and located in Sharon, Massachusetts.

Moose Hill has a well-marked network of trails to mix and match for longer or shorter hikes. The Summit Trail will take you up a short incline to a fire tower at 534 feet. Unfortunately, the tower is contained by a locked fence. Beyond the tower you'll find the Bluff Overlook trail which will give you some good views from the far end of the woods. Keep an eye out for the remains of an old cistern, and many great old stonewalls.

After your hike, stop at Wards Berry Farm down the road for some apple cider donuts.
